This page is dedicated to the five years I spent at The University of British Columbia.  I graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Metals and Materials Engineering.  I'd have to say up to this point that these have been the best five years of my life.  I made a bunch of great friendships, many of which I'm sure will stand the test of time.

The first two years I lived on 4th Salish House, Totem Park Residence.  Long live the Zoo Crew!  Many friends, many memories.  Then I moved to Gage Towers for my last three years.  Wassup boyz.

I did Co-op during my degree, spending 8 months with the National Research Council of Canada Innovation Center just off of campus, then 2 months at the University of Maryland for a Summer Research Internship, and finally an 8 month stint at SMI-Texas, a scrap steel mill in Seguin, Texas.  Quite a variety of co-op jobs, but a great experience as I realized I didn't want to spend my adult life doing any of these careers.  Needless to say, this is how I ended up at Northwestern.

Below are some pics of UBC campus, one of the most beautiful campuses there are.  I've also included some links to the university, my department, and some of the sports I played while at UBC, namely the hockey and rowing teams.
